Court Date: Aug 1, 2011

The hearing this morning was held to give the Judge the chance to decide whether the  State has enough of a case to go to a trial.

I am being charged with violation of O.C.G.A. 16-12-103(a)(1) which states, “(a) It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly to sell or loan for monetary consideration or otherwise furnish or disseminate to a minor:

  1. Any picture, photograph, drawing, sculpture, motion picture film, or similar visual representation or image of a person or portion of the human body which depicts sexually explicit nudity, sexual conduct, or sadomasochistic abuse and which is harmful to minors...”

They showed the Judge the signs below. And had me testify about what I was trying to do with the signs.

I was surprised to learn that the State is prosecuting me for the sign they confiscated (the first image shown) PLUS the Choice Is sign that sits outside my campaign headquarters today. I was surprised because the language of the law they're using to prosecute me with talks in terms of "sexually explicit nudity" and the decapitated baby's head is not wearing clothes, so it can be said to be technically nude, but that's weird logic at best to prosecute at a Court of law.

But that's the point isn't it? Logic, truth, justice, right, God's Will--all those go out the door as soon as legalized abortion is brought into view.

It's also weird they're charging the Choice Is sign (the one immediately above) violated the law since they've left the sign visible to the public since the day they confiscated the other sign.

Hmm, maybe I should take it down?

Nah, think I'll leave it up. It's not my job to censor the truth. I'll leave that to the government of Georgia and the USA.

Anyway the Prosecutor made it clear how they're going to try to convict me.

His position is the standards of the community are violated by showing children the signs. He contends I should be imprisoned for violating community standards even though the community standards that I am attacking justify murdering the babies shown on my signs. In other words, in the context of a run for Governor where I pledge to outlaw the things the signs display, displaying the signs showing what I pledge to outlaw is a violation of community standards. Look up circular reasoning, evil reasoning, satanic reasoning, and you'll see where this is headed.

Also, if anybody ever bothers to read history, they will find that during the era of slavery in the South slavery abolitionists were convicted for showing pictures of slaves with exactly the same Satanic logic the government of Georgia is using to try to put me in prison now.

They lynched them back then. I guess they want me to brag on the people of Georgia for becoming so "Christian" after the Civil War.

Sheesh!

Of course the Judge could decide to throw the case out. I know which side I'd bet on in this one.

Now if all the Christians will just do nothing  (except me of course; I no longer have that option, praise God), such community standards get to rule this world.

Can you see anything wrong with that picture?

Apparently Gregg Cunningham, who has a vested interest in whatever precedent this case establishes, does.

Anybody else?
